IEEE 802.11 Timeline – Update 2021

Same changes have been happening around the 802.11 standards lately, so the initial 802.11 timeline we had previously created was up for an update.

Here is what has changed since the last update:

• A few drafts have been ratified: 802.11aj, 802.11ak and 802.11aq
• The updated IEEE 802.11-2020 standards came out on February 26th, 2021
• 802.11ax has been ratified on May 19th, 2021
